The Snapelement Relaunch: What Changed and Why
Petru · 8/5/2026
If you have visited Snapelement before, the site you are looking at now is a different machine wearing the same name. Over the past months I rebuilt almost every part of it, and this post is the honest tour of what changed.
The library grew, and grew up
The catalog now holds over 20,800 published components, and the number matters less than what stands behind it: every single published component has passed a structural validation, a real Elementor import on a live install, and a rendered screenshot check. Failures get quarantined instead of published. The apology banners that used to hedge broken previews are gone because the previews are real now.
New territory
Four expansion waves added the categories people kept asking for: Theme Builder templates (headers, footers, singles, archives, error pages, search) that import with the correct template type, popups with triggers left respectfully in your hands, mega menus and off-canvas panels, the Loop Grid two-file bundles with their instructions, deeper WooCommerce coverage including cart and checkout, and the V4 atomic wave: form blocks plus 500 V4 Atomic ports of our most-used V3 sections, cross-linked with their originals so you copy the right version for your editor.
The boring parts that matter
Payments got refund handling and delivery guarantees. Emails got double opt-in, a weekly digest, and compliance footers. The site got a proper license page, a GDPR-grade consent banner that respects Do Not Track, and data export and deletion handling. The blog starts a fifty-post practitioner series today, one every two days, written from the actual work of building this library.
What has not changed
Everything is still free to copy, still unstyled on purpose so it inherits your Global Styles, still no account and no lock-in. The optional $49 Complete Library remains the same convenience it always was. If something looks wrong anywhere, the contact page now reaches a human with a one-business-day reply. Thanks for building with this.
